Can we get real for a second?
If we were besties chatting on the sideline of our kids' soccer game, would you be too embarrassed to tell me about:
- The pile of mail on your kitchen counter, and you're pretty sure there's a bill in there somewhere, but you just can't bring yourself to sort through it.
- How you avoid the playroom at all costs because, despite all of the toy bins in there and reminding your kids to clean up like a MILLION times, you still can't see the floor.
- The last time you tried to donate your husband's collection of concert t-shirts he hasn't worn in ages, he totally freaked out.
As your bestie, I'd tell you that it's not your fault.
Between your job, breaking up sibling fights, throwing elbows for the last pack of toilet paper at the grocery store, putting food on the table, and trying (desperately) to fit in some alone time with your spouse, it's no wonder that stuff piles up at home.
The worst part? Your family's become blind to the mess.
Of course, you clearly see the clutter and want to do something about it. But how can you make any progress if nobody else is on board? It's so frustrating!
Girl, you need a WIN - a clear, clutter-free spot in your home that nobody can mess with. But to do that, you need to know exactly where to start.
